

Skill level for this team ranges from beginners to experienced hockey players. Players are from Concord, Carlisle, Acton, Boxborough, Sudbury, Maynard, Stow and other surrounding towns. Practices will be held at Valley Sports Arenas in Concord and Middlesex School in Concord. Consists of 1-2 practices a week and 1 game on the weekends.

This is a full season team starting in early September and running through April of 2020. This is an individual decision that families may want to make for their experienced player born in 2013. Note that some children born in 2013 may be eligible to play on the Mites.

The Mosquito program is geared for boys and girls who were born between and. Included in the Mosquito registration fee is the annual in-house CCYH Mite Beanpot competition in February 2019 at the Middlesex School. Practice sessions will focus on the basics of ice hockey. The Mosquito program practices on Saturdays and Sundays from early November until the end of February at the Middlesex School.

Most participants will have participated in our Learn-to-Skate program or another learn-to-skate program. Full hockey gear is required including a HECC approved helmet with cage. Mosquito: The CCYH Mosquito program is considered our “Hockey 101” program. Hot Shot registration opens in September and is limited to 75 registrants. Games and practices are held at the Middlesex School rink, Concord MA. Monthly schedules are issued in advance for planning purposes. We will be playing games on Saturday or Sundays, and practices on a weekday evening. Our season consists of 14, or more, weeks of games and practices starting early November and running through the end of February. Hot Shots: The CCYH Hot Shot hockey program is our very own in-house non-checking league for players 8-15 yrs old. Learn-to-Skate registration opens in September. Learn-to-Skate sessions are every Saturday morning, including holiday weekends, beginning early November through February at the Middlesex School rink, Concord MA. Learn-to-Skate: The CCYH Learn-to-Skate program is for girls and boys from age 3 on up.
