The order was never fulfilled due to there being no communication from the deli until 4 hours after the scheduled delivery after contacting Mercato 2 times an hour apart being told there was a delivery person on their way an hour earlier, yet still even at the 4 hours late, the delivery person called me to tell me the deli never even filled the order and had me speak to an employee who hadn’t even checked to see if the items were in stock (they were not!) so at 4 hours after the scheduled delivery time which was supposed to be 8p and it was now 12am on a weekday when I’m trying to sleep I had to deal with an order that was never fulfilled and the deli said they don’t even fill orders until the delivery person arrives … never ordering from this location again & I don’t believe they should be participating with Mercato with their lack of ability to use the system. Drinking a triple IPA in a heat wave is probably not the smartest idea, but when that triple IPA is to celebrate Grimm Artisanal Ales third anniversary in its Brooklyn home, then pour me a pint.
